This book is a collection of articles written in honor of Professor Stanislaw Stachowski, a distinguished linguist from the Jagiellonian University in Kraków. Stachowski is known both in Polish academic circles and to a wider world of scholars as an expert in Turkish, Balkan, and Slavonic linguistics.
