Primary industries facing global markets

The main topic of this book concerns how Norwegian primary producers and the supply chains for their products respond to increases international competition. Norway is a country with successful export oriented aquaculture industry and a more protected forestry and agricultural sectors. This book explores some of the lessons learned from these sectors in coping with international competition and in exploiting the opportunities that are offered by more open markets.
