This edited book is a result of the research and innovation project CriticalThinking in Primary School (KriT), funded by the Research Council of Norway.The KriT-project is an interdisciplinary project aimed at developing a Didaktik forcritical thinking in primary school through engagement with children's literatureand news items. In this book, we present the results of the project relevant forresearchers, teacher educators, pre-service teachers, and others interested in howto facilitate critical thinking in a primary school context.The chapters provide comprehensive insight into the possibilities critical thinkingmay offer in primary classrooms.
