Absolutely Fabulous - Complete series (10 DISC Box set) Absolutely Fabulous is a British comedy series written by Jennifer Saunders, who also stars Joanna Lumley and Julia Sawalha. The series is about Edina Monsoon and Patsy Stone, two middle-aged but immature, fashion-conscious, alcoholic and rather superficial English women. Edina's daughter Saffron is a bespectacled and sensible student who tries to keep her mother in the loop. The series features a number of famous actors and artists as themselves or in fictional roles. The series' opening theme song is This Wheel's on Fire by Bob Dylan and Rick Danko, sung by Julie Driscoll and Adrian Edmondson.
